Griebel, Helen Lila Pearl OREGON Helen Lila Pearl Griebel, age 81, of Oregon, formerly of Marshfield, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2008, at St. Marys Hospital, Madison. She was born on Nov. 5, 1926, in Marshfield, the daughter of Ole and Lydia (Mundt) Warren. Helen married Conrad Ditzel and later married Victor Griebel. She grew up in the Marshfield area. Helen was musical and enjoyed playing the accordion with her sister. She worked the switchboards at the Marshfield Clinic, and was a cook at many restaurants in the Marshfield area. Helen is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery and Donna Ditzel of Minneapolis, Minn., Scott and Wendy Ditzel of Dallas, Ga., Allen and Brooke Griebel of Oregon, Wayne and Kris Griebel of Verona, and Daniel Griebel of Marshfield; grandchildren, Trinity, Jessica, Sean (Robin) and Todd Ditzel, Parker, Brittany, Caitlin and Brian Griebel; great-granddaughters, Kayja and Dustyn; and further survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands; infant son, Robby; sisters, Erna, Ella, Agnes and Betty; and brothers, Alfred, Lawrence and Walter. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 18, 2008, at CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1208 W. 14th St., Marshfield, with Pastor Mark Krueger presiding. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.
