Obituary

De Witt, Sabina "Sally" MADISON Sabina "Sally" DeWitt, age 87, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2008, at St. Marys Hospital in Madison. She was born on June 12, 1920, in Hickory Grove Township, Grant County, the daughter of Joel and Gina (Larson) Hoffland. Sally graduated from Fennimore High School, then worked at Oscar Mayer for a short time. She was a member of McFarland Lutheran Church. Sally is survived by two sons, Clifford (Jo-Claren) Woolever of Evansville and Bruce (Barbara) DeWitt of Fitchburg; two grandsons, David (Claudia) Woolever of Waunakee and Bryan Woolever of Deerfield; one great-grandson, Joshua Woolever; two sisters, Eileen (Marvin) Hipenbecker of Blue River and Lynette (John) Daye of Westfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry on Oct. 21, 1995; a son, Bernard; her parents; two brothers, Jacob and Sydney; and four sisters, Carrie, Gilma, Mae and Lucille. Funeral services will be held at the MCFARLAND LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5529 Marsh Road, McFarland at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, with the Reverend Jeffrey Tomberlin presiding. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Monona. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. A limb has fallen from our family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, Grieve not for me, remember the Best times, the laughter, the song, The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, Im counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul at rest, Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, dont just stare at the wall. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes were together again.
