Monson, Pastor Carol G. STOUGHTON Carol Grace Monson, age 70, of Stoughton, died on Sunday, April 27, 2008, at her home. She was born on Sept. 11, 1937, in Madison, the daughter of George and Grace (Ream) Olsen. Carol graduated from Stoughton High School. She worked 18 years for Ohio Medical Products. Carol became an ordained Pastor in 1998 and was currently serving as Associate Pastor at Grace Church in New Glarus. Her previous married name was Kluever. Carol was married to Rod Monson on Nov. 11, 2005, at Grace Church in New Glarus. She is survived by her husband, Rod of Stoughton; a daughter, Kathy (Russell) Beloungy of Evansville; step children, Susan (Steve) Nygaard of Stoughton, Peter (Laura) Monson of Stoughton, and David (Cheryl) Monson of Kansas City, Mo.; five grandchildren, Deb (Matt) Shaw of Ankeny, Iowa, Mark (Becky Van Dusen) Beloungy of Beaver Dam, Josh Beloungy of Evansville, Brian Beloungy of Madison, and David Beloungy of Evansville; step grandchildren, Tom and Mallory Nygaard, and Rob and Josh Monson; a great-grandson, Sayers Van Dusen; two brothers, Pastor Roger (Sandra) Olsen of Blanchardville and Ken (Sharon) Olsen of Edgerton; an aunt, Ida Browne; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at GRACE CHURCH, 416 Second St., New Glarus, at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, 2008, with Pastor Kent Duvall and Pastor Roger Olsen presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park, Monona. Visitation will be held at BETHESDA CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP, 3245 E. Washington Ave., Madison, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008.
