Elizabeth L. Lewis

Lewis, Elizabeth L. "Beth" MILTON/ MADISON Elizabeth L. "Beth" Lewis, age 56, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008, surrounded by her family and friends, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 27, 1952, in Madison, the daughter of Guy and Leona Seekins. Beth grew up in McFarland and graduated in 1970 from McFarland High School. She worked various administrative duties with the Methodist/Meriter Hospital for more than 20 years. Beth received an associate degree from Madison Area Technical College in 1996. She was currently working for WPS Insurance. Beth is survived by her special friend, companion and care giver, Dave Clancy; son, Justin (Amanda) Lewis; and grandson, Caleb Romenesko. Beth is further survived by her stepfather, Bernard Friedlund; stepmother, Eleanor Seekins; stepbrothers, Gary (Carol) Friedlund, and Phil (Lisa) Friedlund; stepsisters, Linda McFarlane (special friend, Rod Burmeister), and Debbie (Rick) Sawyer; special cousins, Nicci Martin and Sharon Seekins; mother-in-law, Kay Lewis; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy, Debbie, Diane, Mary and Rick; and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Roseanna Marie Lewis; cousin, Nancy Fisher; and former husband, Jim Lewis. Funeral services will be held at MCFARLAND LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5529 Marsh Road, McFarland, on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Jerome Pribbenow presiding. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
