Obituary
Moll, Melody Lee (McCallum) SUN PRAIRIE Our precious Melody Lee (McCallum) Moll, age 37, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 29, 2008, after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by many close family members and friends. Melody was born on July 14, 1970, in Madison, the daughter of Neil and Patricia McCallum. She graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1988, and was employed with the state of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation since 1990. Melody was a lifetime member of Luther Memorial Church. She and John Moll were joined in marriage on Nov. 7, 1992. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Neil John, age 13, and Rachel Patricia, age 9. Melody had a tremendous zest for life and a contagious smile. She had a deep love for her family and friends, which stemmed from her passion for life itself. Melody was a dedicated advocate for breast cancer awareness and research, participating in numerous functions, conventions and fund raisers, in the hope of finding a cure. She knew what was important in life and she lived each day to the fullest. In addition to her husband and children, Melody is survived by her beloved parents, Neil and Patricia McCallum of Madison; siblings, Paul, David, Brenda, Nancy, and Cindy; a loving aunt, Doris; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; uncles, George McCallum and John Kaltenberg; an aunt, Betty Kinkel; and a cousin, Kristi Kaltenberg. Funeral services will be held at LUTHER MEMORIAL CHURCH, 1021 University Ave., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2008, with the Rev. Brad Pohlman presiding. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. It was Melodys request that memorial contributions be sent to Summit Credit Union for educational trust funds that have been set up for her children. Melodys family would like to thank staff at Deans Oncology Department for all of their loving care. Though her smile is gone forever, And her hands we cannot touch, Still we have so many memories of the one we love so much. Her memory is our keepsake, with which well never part. God has her in His keeping, we have her in our hearts.

Melody,
I still have my Snoopy and sticker collections that we built together.
Even though we lost touch after high school, I will miss you dearly. Every memory I have of you is absolutely wonderful.
