Zwettler, Lawrence J. "Larry" ORLANDO, FLA./ PINE BLUFF Lawrence Joseph "Larry" Zwettler, age 58, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 17, 2008. He was born Jan. 6, 1950, in Madison, the son of Florian and Teresa Zwettler. He was raised in Pine Bluff, attended St. Marys Grade School, and graduated from Mount Horeb High School; after which he attended UW-Madison and obtained engineering and M.B.A. degrees. He worked for Suntrust Bank of Orlando, Fla., for 25 years as a computer specialist. Larry married Barbara Swanson on Oct. 6, 1979, in Chicago, Ill. Even though he resided in the Orlando area, Larry remained an avid Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan. In addition to his wife, Barbara, of Orlando, Fla.; he is survived by his daughter, Dr. Amy Zwettler M.D. of Bethesda, Md., and a son, Robert, at home; four brothers, Richard (Carol) Zwettler, James (Jean) Zwettler and Charles (Jane) Zwettler, all of Cross Plains, and John (Janice) Zwettler of Monona; three sisters, Lynne (Russ) Sutter of Cross Plains, Nancy (Thomas) Sutter of Blue Mounds, and Judy (Gerald) Keller of Mount Horeb; a sister-in-law, Martha Amerquita Zwettler of Morrison, Colo.; a brother-in-law, Richard (Shelly) Swanson and a sister-in-law, Beverly Swanson, both of Cape Coral, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Florian Zwettler, Dec. 6, 1953; his mother, Teresa Zwettler, Dec. 4, 2006; his brother, Thomas Zwettler, Oct. 2, 2003; and brothers-in-law, Bob and Gary Swanson. Memorial services were held on Saturday, June 23, 2008, at WOODLAWN MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME in Orlando, Fla.
