In 1978, Jean married Sy Lewandoski and together they enjoyed many wonderful years of love and travel. He preceded her in death in 2000.Though she suffered form Alzheimers disease in her later years, family, friends, doctors, and the caring staff at Oakwood West thoroughly enjoyed her ongoing wit and humor. We will dearly miss her. We are all at peace with her peace. Chuck & family, Please accept our sympathy on the death of your Mom. Our family remembers her best from a week spent at Roamer's Roost with all the humming birds she took care of. This was about 30 yrs ago, so you may not remember it but we all do. Again, our best

To Chuck, Jeannie and Ruthie families: So Sorry for your loss. Such good memories of your mom - she was one great lady. She was so good to this Aplin family - rescuring me at times by taking some of my kids to stay at Roamer' Roost. My best to all of you. Love, Aunt Barbara

Chuck, Jeannie and Ruth Families,
We are so sad to hear about the passing of Aunt Jean. Please accept our sympathy. I have so many great childhood memories of our times with Aunt Jean, Mercer and Roamers Roost. From the muskie fishing, flying squirrels, great Thanksgiving diners to the euchre games... some of the happiest times of my life. She was a great Aunt and always made us feel welcome. She will always be in my thoughts.
