Tony Bahr

Bahr, Tony MADISON Tony Bahr, age 40, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at home after an extended illness with psoriatic arthritis. He was born on May 3, 1968, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Winfred and Marilyn (Fulker) Bahr. Tony graduated from LaFollette High School in 1986. As a young child he was in Boy Scouts, was an avid bowler and has always loved animals. He also enjoyed hunting with his family, fishing with his sons, and spending time with his friends and family. Tony was a kind, gentle person who was always there to help others. Above all, Tony enjoyed being a loving father to his sons. He is survived by his sons, Devin and Austin Bahr; parents, Wyn and Marilyn Bahr of Madison; brother, David (Pam) Bahr and their children, Joshua, Justin and Jonathan, of Arizona; sisters, Pam (Steve) Barnes and their children, Candie (Nick) Drogsvold, Tania (Scott) Gross and Nathan (Dani) Barnes of Stoughton and their son, Tyler and Amy (Wade) Finke and their children, Ryken and Kyle of Cottage Grove; grandmother, Mary Fulker of South Dakota; and many aunts and uncles. Tony was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Forrest Fulker and paternal grandparents, Fred and Alvina Bahr. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. A visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, and from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
