Daniel Laufenberg

Laufenberg, Daniel MADISON Daniel Laufenberg, age 61, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Sept. 5, 2008. He was born on Nov. 7, 1946, in Waunakee, the fourth of 12 children, to Joseph and Barbara Laufenberg. Daniel served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Chief Auto Parts, retiring after 35 years. Daniel enjoyed boating, canoeing, and spending time with family and friends. He loved animals, especially his dogs. Daniel is survived by his son, Edward (Penny) Heimann; two grandsons, Edward James and Dustin Lee Heimann; siblings, Jim (Patti) Laufenberg, Ken (Nancy) Laufenberg, Shelby (Walt) Hoon, Joe (Barbara) Laufenberg, Diane (John) Kelley, Patricia (John) Kearney, Gary (Sandra) Laufenberg, Kathy (Bob) Kuczynski, and Debbie (Bryan Dibble) Laufenberg; and many nieces, nephews, o ther relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Dale and John. Graveside services will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, with military rites conducted.
