Otho R. Rounds III

Rounds, Otho R. III MONONA Otho R. "Buck" Rounds III, age 54, of Monona, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at home. He was born on April 16, 1954, in Madison, the son of Otho R. and MaryAnn (Markley) Rounds Jr. Buck graduated from Monona Grove High School. He worked for O. R. Rounds and Sons, and then spent most of his life truck driving. Buck was a bass fisherman and loved people. He always went out of his way to help others and he cherished his friends. Buck is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Uptagraw; four grandchildren, Kirsten, Kevin, Dakota and Lexi; his mother, Maryann Rounds; a brother, Daniel (Bonnie) Rounds; nephews, Daniel Rounds Jr., Barry Wilson and Reon Rounds; and best friend and cousin, Arthur Hurckman III. He was preceded in death by his father, Otho R. Rounds Jr. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, 2008. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Keep on truckin.
