Timothy W. Callaway

Callaway, Timothy W. "Cal" MCFARLAND Timothy Wayne "Cal" Callaway, age 51, of McFarland, left this life on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, in Glendale, Colo. He was born on March 6, 1957, in Madison, the son of Leon "Cal" and Gretchen Callaway. Cal graduated from McFarland High School and worked most of his life for the postal system. He started in Stoughton, then transferred to Key West, Fla., then back to his hometown of McFarland. Cal loved Wisconsin and was an avid Badgers, Packers, and Brewers fan. His friends and family meant everything to him. The friendships he made were lifelong and his love for his family was a constant support to him through all of the battles he faced in his all too short life. Cal cared deeply for everyone. He showed it by never forgetting a birthday or his friends and family at Christmas. We will miss our brother, loving uncle, and dear friend. Cal is survived by his brothers, Greg (JoAnn) of Fort Myers, Fla. and Jeff of Marshall; his sister, Patti Langman of McFarland; his niece, Angela Langman of McFarland; and his nephew, Spc. Brent Langman of Fort Bragg, N.C. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at MCFARLAND LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5529 Marsh Road, McFarland, at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, with the Rev. Jeff Tomberlin presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. A celebration of Cals life will continue at the Crossroads Inn, 3562 County Road AB, McFarland. We would like to express a special thank you to Randy and Geri Westphal of Denver, Colo., for going above and beyond the call of friendship for everything they have done for us. Our memories of Tim "Cal" will never fade. Because of his love for music, we will hear him in every song, and see his smile and beautiful blue eyes forever.
