Obituary
Sprecher, JoAnn L. MADISON JoAnn L. Sprecher, age 77, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2008 at Our House in Wisconsin Dells. She was born on Oct. 9, 1930 in Boscobel, to the parents of Melvin and Pearl (Curtis) Hinson. She began her career as an operator at Wisconsin Bell. She also worked for Farmers Mutual Insurance, now known as American Family Insurance, retiring after 45 years of service. She then volunteered for three years at Monona Grove High School in the Career Center. She met her husband Frederick E. Sprecher Sr. of Madison and they were married on March 21, 1952. They enjoyed boating on the Mississippi River. After her husbands passing, she was an avid Wisconsin Badger Football fan, Green Bay Packer fan, and enjoyed visiting the Avenue Bar of Madison. JoAnn is survived by her son, Frederick E. Sprecher Jr.(Sue); granddaughters, Jamie (Mike) Frame and Robin E. Jacoby; great-granddaughters, Hannah L. Rickey, Alivia R. Frame; brothers, Paul Hinson and Richard (Judy) Rust; sisters, Florence Bahr and Debbie (Larry) Nygaard; two sisters-in-law, Alice Funk and Kathleen Lawler; brother-in-law, Charles (Leonette) Sprecher; and remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick E. Sprecher Sr.; parents; and sister-in-law, Jeanne Faust. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008 at 7 p.m. Entombment will be on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008, at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
