Linda Kay Handel 61

Handel, Linda Kay MADISON - Linda Kay Handel, age 61, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at U.W. Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born on Oct. 26, 1947 in Richland Center, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Berry) Herlitz. Linda graduated from LaFollette High School in 1966. She loved spending time with family, friends and especially her grandchildren. Even with her illness, it never held her back from what she wanted to do. Linda also loved to do crafts. She is survived by her mother, Mary Heim; two sons, Todd ( Erica) Handel and Troy (Laurie) Handel; grandchildren, Breanna, Aidan and Alana Handel, Tyler, Ashley and Travis Beutler; sister, Gloria Scott; brother, Fred (Beth) Heim; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward; stepfather Delmer Heim; two sisters, Carol Ann Herlitz Buskee and Mary Jane Herlitz. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, with the Rev. Doug Tomhave presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at the Cuba City Cemetery at a later date.
