Irene lee Mueller

Mueller, Irene Lee STOUGHTON-Irene Lee Mueller, age 95, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2009, in Stoughton. She was born on Aug. 9, 1913, in Amherst Junction, the daughter of Mathia (Bjorge) and Olaf Lee. Irene married Lenard K. Mueller on Jan. 8, 1938, in Evanston, Ill. After her children were raised, she worked at the Wisconsin Center on the U. W. campus. Irene was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, their Rebekah Circle and had taught Sunday school. She especially enjoyed helping with charitable activities, like the Clothes for Community Closet. Irene spent many days enjoying raising her family. She loved to travel and was finally able to visit her relatives in Norway. Irene is survived by three children, Russell Mueller of Virginia, Donald (Deborah) Mueller of Mount Horeb, and Sally (Mark) Schepp of Cambridge; eight grandchildren, Heidi Lee, Kirstin (George) Snead, John Mueller, Andrew Mueller, Jeremy Schepp, Allison (Lance) Mueller, Fritz Mueller and Dax Mueller; seven great-grandchildren, Jacob, William, Charlotte, Sarah, Max, Jack and Mackenzie; a sister, Luella Trinrud; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenard. Private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1904 Winnebago St., Madison, WI 53704.
