Photo/FlagGilbertson, Rev. Richard V. EAU CLAIRE/MADISON - Rev. Richard Victor Gilbertson, age 77 of Madison, Wis., left his earthly life on July 21, 2009 at home after a five year illness. He was born on February 14, 1932, in Eau Claire, Wis. to Victor and Martha (Mohn) Gilbertson. After a brief time working for the Wisconsin Highway Department he served in the military in Alaska from 1955-1957. At age 25 he entered Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN and was ordained into the ministry of the American Lutheran Church on September 17, 1961. Barb - We were so sorry to hear of Pastor's death. We have many fond memories of him here in Wautoma. He was such a caring man. Unfortunately, today I have an appointment that couldn't be rescheduled. I am especially thinking of you now during the time of his memorial service. May God bless you in this difficult time.
