Eleanor Minnie Vervoort

Vervoort, Eleanor Minnie MADISON-Eleanor Minnie Vervoort, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center. She was born in Pewaukee, on Aug. 27, 1922, to the late Benjamin Ceshker from Danzig, Germany and Emma (Koehler) Ceshker from Milwaukee. Eleanor married Lamont L. Vervoort from Wisconsin Rapids on June 3, 1946, in Belleville. They lived in Waukesha for a short time, then moved out to Oakland, Calif. for a few years, then back to the Madison area. Eleanor is survived by her loving children, Edward (Darlene) of Waunakee, Charles (Valerie) of Stoughton, and Ellen (Harlan Widmann) Vervoort of Madison; five grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) Landsness, Heidi (Dave) Robbins, Erik, Joyce (Tom) Dorsey and Alice Ezrow; seven great-grandchildren; and three brothers, George, Alfred and Arthur. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lamont; sister, Francis Besso; a niece, Diana Besso; and a nephew, Gene Ceshker. Private services will be held.
