Kathryn Marie (Zanna) Skroch

Skroch, Kathryn Marie (Zanna) MONONA-Kathryn Marie (Zanna) Skroch, age 89, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at St. Mary's Care Center. She was born on March 9, 1920, in Gilbert, Minn., the daughter of Martin and Teresa (Penoncello) Zanna. Kay married Dr. Eugene E. Skroch on Sept. 19, 1944. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. Kay is survived by her husband, Gene Skroch; four children, Jayne (Ron) Kuehn of Fitchburg, Dave (Jennifer) Scott of Eau Claire, Rick (Cheryl) Scott of Lewisville, Texas, and Jan (Linda) Scott of Dubuque, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and a brother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, with Monsignor Michael Hippee presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to St. Mary's Care Center, Fitchburg or to a charity of the donor's choice.
