Obituary

Stull, Wendell Charles Sr. MADISON-Wendell Charles Stull Sr., age 83, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at Hospice. He was born on Jan. 12, 1926, in Madison, the son of Paul and Alverta (Dreger) Stull. Wendell attended Hawthorne School and graduated from Madison East High School. He served in the U. S. Navy as a fireman during World War II. Wendell married Lillian Keller on Feb. 26, 1949. He worked as an electrician with Local No. 159. Wendell was a lifetime member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), and a member of VFW No. 7591 and DAV No. 2. He enjoyed model trains, RV camping, and fishing. Wendell is survived by his wife, Lillian; children, JoAnn Lawrence, Paul (Vicky) Stull, Bill (Diane) Stull, Larry (Tracy) Stull, Tom (Debbie) Stull, Wendell (Cindy) Stull Jr., George Stull (Joy Struck), Kathryn Stull, and Lynn (Patrick) Schrauth; 13 grandchildren, Angel, Naysa, Kris, Lori, Allyson, Teresa, Scott, Stacey, Sierra, Liz, Nick, Kyle and Tara;five great-grandchildren; asister, Karen Judd; a cousin, Gordon Nelson; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Mary Walker; and an aunt, Vera Nelson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, with military rites conduct. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, 2009. Billy, I am so sorry to hear about your father. I hope you are doing well, and you and your family are coping with the loss all right. I will never forget all the fun we had at Kipp and all that you taught me about machining. Bless you all.
