Obituary

Sun Prairie - M. LaVonne Pagelow, age 80, passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, September 7, 2009. She was born on June 10, 1929, in Mankato, Minn., thefirst of three daughters to John and Myrtle (Nordgren) Bagley. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1947. LaVonne was united in marriage to Edward Pagelow on December 25, 1949. For the past 60 years they have celebrated their Christmas love. In 1957, they moved to Camden Road where they formed lifelong friendships with their neighbors. LaVonne and Ed were active members at Monona Evangelical Lutheran Church, where LaVonne taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. LaVonne worked at the Monona Clinic and Dean Clinic. Then due to Ed\'s job, they were relocated out of state. When they returned to Wisconsin a short time later, they made Sun Prairie their home. LaVonne and Ed became members of Our Savior\'s Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie. They enjoyed the winters spent in Tuscon, Arizona. LaVonne enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, being the family genealogy researcher and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Ed; sons Stephen (Lori) Pagelow of Madison, Gary (Sandra) Pagelow of Madison, her grandchildren; Ryan (Nicky) Pagelow of Chicago, Kristie (Andrew) Dennis of Cottage Grove, Brandon (Ashley) Pagelow of New Jersey, Kyle (Lindsey) Pagelow of Madison; and great grandson, Noah Dennis. She is further survived by two sisters, Shirley Gregory of Arizona and Jenine (Harvey) Molohan of Arkansas and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the wonderful care givers at Harmony House in Sun Prairie. LaVonne also appreciated the many cards and visits during her illness. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr. Madison. with Rev. David Berggren presiding. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials in her honor may be made to, The Michael J.
