hey man for the last 9years that we have been friends it has been a joy to know you and to work on the blues and shows. all the nights hanging out with friends like terry G and john stone and all the menbers of the SOUL BROTHERS BAND and the GOOD DOGS BAND. you will be missed by many not only here in Madison Wis but in Chicago too. I was saddened to hear of Mel’s passing from this life to the next. Rest assured that his bright infectious smile shines in the night skies; his rich mellow voice sings within the hearts of those whose lives he touched.

I miss my father so much only if I could have talked and laughed with him one last time, hugged him one last time, see his face and even his smile one last time, most of all said Fairwell to him until we meet again.
