My sympathy at your loss, Marsha was a very special lady, I feel blessed to have known her. The Jahnke's were all customers at the jewelry store and became friends. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I first met Marsha when I started a new job in the same dept as her at amfam. It took her awhile to accept me but once she did I could count on her to be the bridge between myself and others in the dept who would not accept the new guy. I suspect she took a lot grief for that but she still helped me when I needed it. When I later became her boss she still called me a "putz" among other names (kiddingly, I think). I relied on her to be a sounding board for ideas, editing correspondence and listening to me whine about the job. I could always trust her to keep confidential things to herself. We talked a lot about our children and her love and pride for Alicia was always very evident. I shared a lot of laughs with Marsha and still miss that. She also did many nice and helpful things for other people who needed help. She seldom did these things in the open, preferring to keep them quiet. She was gracious enough to keep in touch with me after I was fired. I won't forget that she took the time to keep in touch and make sure I was OK. Goodbye MJ2 my friend, I will truly miss you.
