Bonnie Lappen-Moen

Lappen-Moen, Bonnie MADISON - Bonnie Lappen-Moen, age 59, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009, at the HospiceCare Center. She was born on June 13, 1950 in Madison, the daughter of Charles and Alverda (Jones) Kalar. She graduated from Madison East High school in 1968, and then worked for Webcrafters for 33 years. She married Mike Moen on September 7, 2000. Bonnie and Mike loved to dance, and she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandkids. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Mike; one son, Scott Lappen; three grandchildren, Brittany, Patrick, and Hunter; her father, Charles Kalar; two step-sons, Chad and Jeff Moen; and one brother, Lee (Jean) Kalar. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alverda; a brother, Charlie; and her husband, Patrick Lappen. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
