Ruth Ann Fischer Clasen

MIDDLETON - "Ruthie" lived a wonderful life and passed away on January 13, 2010 surrounded by her husband Ernest Clasen and her family. She was a beloved wife adored by her family. She loved animals and children. Ruth married the love of her life, Ernest Clasen, on November 1, 1958. In 1959, Ruth, Ernie, and Ralph Clasen purchased a small bakery on Parmenter Street in Middleton, which was the start of Clasen's Bakery. The bakery remains in the family after 50 years of operation.Ruthie spent her life caring for animals, children, planting flowers, cooking, singing, and praying. With her love, she always made us smile and feel wonderful. She gave us the gift of a positive attitude.May God care for Ruthie gently and kindly. We love you, Ruthie.A mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010 with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Burial will be at St. Bernard's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare, Inc., 5395 East Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg, WI 53711. Service: A mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST.
