Angela Mary Meinholz

MIDDLETON/ASHTON-Angela Mary Meinholz, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Middleton Village. She was born on October 18, 1919, in Ashton, the daughter of Martin and Laura (Laufenberg) Ziegler. Angela was united in marriage to Edward Meinholz on April 23, 1947 in Ashton. He preceded her in death in 2003. Edward and Angela farmed in Ashton until their retirement in 1977. Angela is survived by her children, Laura (Marvin) Ganser, Victor (Millie) Meinholz, James (Irene) Meinholz, Cletus (Priscilla) Meinholz, Daniel Meinholz, Agnes (Pat) Breunig; 15 grandchildren, Maureen (Ryan) Ganser Gile, Brenda (Kevin) Ganser Weadick, Cindy, Dale, David (Melodee), Christine, Timothy (Kate), Anne, Jason, Todd, Amanda, Scott (Kelly) and Sara Meinholz, Kurt and Lee Breunig; seven great-grandchildren, Ella and Brooke Gile, Audrey and Claire Weadick, Veronica, Joseph and Genevieve Meinholz and a brother Alvin (Marion) Ziegler. In addition to her beloved husband, Angela was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Mary; a sister, Margaret Ziegler and grandchildren, Shelly and Eric Meinholz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. PETER\'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7121 County Trunk K, Middleton (Ashton) at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 15, 2010 with Father Bud Hollfelder and Father John Meinholz concelebrating. Burial will be in St. Peter\'s Cemetery, Ashton. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church.
