JoAnn M. Conners

Conners, JoAnn M. MADISON-JoAnn M. Conners, age 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. She was born on April 3, 1942, in Madison, the daughter of Melvin and Clara Sater. JoAnn loved having get-togethers, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed feeding birds and squirrels. JoAnn is survived by her children, Troy (Renee) Sater, April (Eric Schwoegler) Conners and Charlie (Katie Shaw) Conners; grandchildren, Matthew (Amy) Huss, Megan (Justin) Smith, Troy J. Sater, Courtney Sater, Christopher Fields, Cody Sater, Braxton Conners and Deven Conners-Shaw; sisters, Carol Schmitt, Della McCredie, Sandra Griffin and Jean Rohner; her dog, Buck;and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Conners; sisters, Gladys Geishirt and Audrey Keller; and brothers, Richard Starr and George Starr Jr. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, with the Rev. Jerry Amstutz presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to the family. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the family.
