Obituary

Manderfield, Lucille E. Cile OREGON-Lucille E. Cile Manderfield, age 91, of Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Sienna Meadows in Oregon. She was born on April 19, 1919 in Menominee, Mich., the daughter of Gus and Mary (Kotke) Peterson. Cile married Kenneth Manderfield on Feb. 23, 1946 in Menominee, Mich. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. Cile loved to cook, bake and enjoyed flowers. Cile is survived by her daughter, Mary (Darrell) Holtz of Oregon; sons, Mike (Kathy) Manderfield of Woodridge, Ill. and Pete Manderfield of Lake Havasu City, Az.; four grandchildren, Kristin (Eric) Taplick, Kendra (Brad) Moore, Chris Manderfield and Jorie Manderfield; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan and Connor Taplick; and sister, Babe (Buzz) Boren. Cile is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and six brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at ST. JOHNS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 625 E. Netherwood, Oregon at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2010, with the Rev. Paul Markquart presiding. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. A second funeral service will be held at NICOLET MEMORIAL GARDENS SHRINE OF THE GOOD SHEPHARD CHAPEL, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd., Green Bay, at noon on Monday, May 3, 2010, with Chaplain Steve Fewell presiding. A visitation will be held at the chapel from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to HospiceCare, Inc., 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg, WI 53711.The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Peggy and the entire staff at Sienna Meadows for their kindness, loving care and compassion shown over the last three years for our mother and grandmother. We would also like to give thanks to the Hospice organization and all their staff. Special thanks to Mary, Cory and Beth for their continuous efforts to maintain her quality of life.
