Normal 0 Dwayne K. Williams Jr. was born on January 9, 1984 to Dwayne and Sonia Williams in Chicago, IL. He was the second to the oldest among seven brothers and four sisters. He was compassionate and giving of himself; and was taught to trust in God from an early age. He learned and practiced the responsibility of public service. He freely helped others from the kindness of his heart and would give his last to anyone in need. Family meant everything to Dwayne Jr., he would literally give his life for his own sons. He fought for his son and strived to be an excellent father to both of his children. He loved his sons Marquis and Dwayne Jr. Marquis was a daddys boy who refused to leave his fathers side. Junior would kick up a fuss when his dad tried to leave the room. Dwaynes brothers and sisters admired and looked up to him. He always had sound advice and was the pillar that held his siblings together. Dwayne Jr attended Stoughton High School and was in the process of obtaining his Bachelors Degree from Phoenix University. Coming from a well educated family, filled with talented artist, musicians and poets he was always a mamas boy, and he dearly loved his dad. His mother Sonia is a poet, a writer, singer, seamstress and fashion designer. His father Dwayne DJ Chill Williams, Sr. is well known throughout the Midwest as a business strategist, entertainer, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Dwayne Jr. was not only a lover of music, yet, he loved to perform as well. He was a brilliant songwriter and had many adoring fans and friends. For those of us that knew him, we are aware of his mistakes as a teenager. But, we rejoice in the commitment of his repentance and ability to turn his life around to become a mature and responsible young man. Family and friends know Dwayne Jr. as a family man, loving father, big brother, and music lover. Even as a child, he always loved music and listened to a variety of music (Classic Rock, Soul, Blues, Reggae Roots, and even Classical). His love and study of music helped developed his talent as a free-style lyricist. In his Zone Dwayne Jr. (aka Young V.G.) created impromptu raps with ease along with a unique smooth flow leaving audiences well entertained and amused of its originality. Dwayne Jr. along with his brother DeAmate (aka Merciless a name given for his success in rap battles) had combined to create a hip hop duo. The Williams Brothers have studio recordings, and had just begun to establish their niche in Madisons Hip Hop Music sector. The Hip Hop sibling duo had recently performed at multiple club venues and major concerts opening for artists such as Freeway (Roc-A-Fella Records). They had upcoming performances scheduled for the Taste of Chicago, Chicagos Bud Biliken Parade, Beloit WI River Fest, and other summer festivals. With many offerings, they were in the midst of finalizing a manager and accepting a recording contract. Even though Dwayne Jr was taken from us prematurely, we trust in the Lord for the care of his Spirit and Soul. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Sonia Williams; his father Dwayne Williams (Tabatha); six brothers: Ivan, DeAmate, LeShaun, Chris, Joshua and DeMarcus; three sisters: Delilah, Maimuna and Oumie: grandmothers: Williemae Loggins and Pearl Williams; grandfather Cornelius Johnson (Annabelle); A fiancee, Ashely Vaage; two children Marquis Amir Williams -8 (Corine Sheets) and Dwayne Ahkeem Williams, Jr 14-months (Ashley Vaage).
