OREGON-Rae Ellen (Rauch) Packard, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010. She was born on Nov. 3, 1960 to Kathleen Purcell Phillips and George Rauch. Rae Ellen graduated from Edgewood High School in 1978. Following a long career in property management she worked as Director of Multi Family Housing for WHEDA, where she was employed for the last 17 years. She is survived by her parents, Kathleen (William) Phillips and George (Phyllis) Rauch; her husband, Tom Packard; step-daughter, Emily (Dustin) Dean; granddaughters, Sydney, Tayah and Sophia Dean; brothers and sister, Bob (Anita) Rauch and their children Brandon Rauch, Ryan, Rachel and Marisa Larson; Ruth Ann (Rob Gannon) Weber and their children Tom (friend Deb Doberstein) Weber, Jr., Lisa (Shawn McCullough) Weber, Ryan and Alyssa Gannon; Randy (Laural) Rauch and their children Kelsey and Dylann; Rick (Lindsay) Rauch and their children Katie and Jack; stepbrothers and stepsisters, Steve (Jane) Duckwitz, Scott Duckwitz, Ed (Mareea) Phillips, Cindy and Marcy Phillips and will also be missed by many friends, acquaintances and collegues. Rae Ellen was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Thomas W. Weber, Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 401 S. Owen Dr., Madison, on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, with Father Tom Kelley presiding. Burial will be at Oak Hall Cemetery, Fitchburg. Visitation will be at church from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. Rae Ellens life was a life lived with courage, dignity and indominable spirit. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation (www.lymphoma.org).
