Mary Jane (Engelen) Turek

Turek, Mary Jane (Engelen) MADISON-Mary Jane (Engelen) Turek, age 56, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010 peacefully at home. She was born on Aug. 20, 1953 and raised in Chaska, Minn., the daughter of Joseph and Lila (Kettner) Engelen, Jr. She raised her family in Chanhassen, Minn. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, crafting and shopping. Jane was most proud of her children and their accomplishments. For over 20 years, she inspired and mentored many at American Family Insurance. Jane is survived by her children, David (Sarah) Turek, Sarah (John) Wahoske, Anna Turek; 2 grandchildren, Addison and Noel; brothers, Allen, James (Susan); John (Kim), Mark (Mary), and Paul Engelen. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Douglas and sister, Joanne. Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at ST. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5313 Flad Avenue, Madison, with the Monsignor Michael Burke presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
