Gregory Alan Peterson

Peterson, Gregory Alan MADISON-Gregory Alan Peterson, age 56, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at UW Hospital, with his wife by his side. He was born on Oct. 24, 1953, in Dodgeville, the son of William F. and Virginia (Roberts) Peterson. Gregory graduated from McFarland High School in 1972 and then enlisted in the U. S. Navy. He married Betty Burckhardt on June 8, 1996 in Harrisville, Marquette county. Gregory lived most of his life in Madison. He enjoyed flower gardening, bicycling, and spending time with family and friends. Gregory is survived by his wife of 14 years, Betty; brothers, Dennis W. (Mary Babler) Peterson, and Terry F. Peterson; sister, Vicki (Bob) Baker; and nieces, Sasha Peterson and Brooke Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Cemetery: Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
