Charles F. 'Chuck' Hub

RENO, NEV.-Charles F. Chuck Hub, father of six, died on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, in Reno, Nev. He was born on Dec. 2, 1922, in Wahpeton, N.D., moving with his family to a dairy farm in Riley, in 1928. Chuck is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and served 33 years as a chief school administrator in five Wisconsin school districts, Juda, Melrose, Horicon, Shawano and Ripon. In 1962, he was elected president of the Wisconsin School Districts Association. He is survived by his wife, Loretta; six children, Jim (Terri) Fridley of Minn., Bill and Steve, both of Lake Tahoe, Nev., Susan of Malvern, Pa., Jeff (Sandy) of St. Joseph, Mich., and John of Lake Tahoe, Nev.; and 11 grandchildren. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Clara; two sisters, Lornia and Vera; and two brothers, Oscar and Myron. Funeral services will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010.
