Lynn Arthur Lee, age 69, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at home. He was born in Madison on August 21, 1940 to Arthur and Erma (Steward) Lee. Art enjoyed his boyhood years growing up in Fond du Lac. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he went on to receive his degree in real estate finance. As a student he had the opportunity to work for a summer in Turkey and travel Europe. As he began his career he met and married Caren B. Culp of Green Bay. Together they had two children, James Alan and Pamela Ann. His career gave him the opportunity to work and travel through out the country. In 1985, Art moved to San Antonio to work with Pacific Southwest Bank and in December 1989 married Jayne Gamel. Art, Jayne and Jayne's daughter Ann, spent a little more time in Texas before moving on to new opportunities. It was his love for family and friends that led him back to Wisconsin where he and Jayne settled in Madison. There he worked for D. L. Evans. Art was passionate about sports and loved fishing. He loved spending time with family and especially glowed when he was around his grandchildren. Art has touched so many hearts with his enduring friendship. His kindness and generosity will forever affect all those who had the pleasure to know him. Sorry to hear of Lynn's passing. the Fords & Lees did spend some happy times together in Fond du Lac many years ago. I hope the photo I included brings a remembrance of a Christmas past when, with help from the Thurmans, the lee's Christmas tree was trimmed.
