Gloria Elaine (Jacobson) Peterson

BLOOMINGTON - Gloria Elaine (Jacobson) Peterson, age 74, of Bloomington, Minn., passed away on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010. She was born on Oct. 12, 1935, in Madison. Gloria is survived by her children, Kim (Gary) Eitel, Hilary (Brian) Shelley, and Todd Peterson; and her sister; Carol (Dan) Peterson. Gloria was also so proud of her grandchildren, Erik, Christy, Justin, Joshua, Melissa, Brandon, Zachary, Charlotte, Max, Eric, and Alex; as well as her great-grandchildren, Hannah, Tyson, Samuel and (impending) Baby Sirek. Glorias friends were loved immensely as well. She was preceded in death by her parents, Verna and Haakon Jacobson; as well as many adored aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at 2 p.m., with a celebration of her life to immediately follow at the CHEROKEE COUNTRY CLUB, 5000 N. Sherman Ave., Madison. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
