Elmer M. Mike" Raasch

MADISON-Elmer M. "Mike" Raasch, age 72, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, at St. Marys Hospital. He was born on March 28, 1938, in Madison, the son of Elmer and Dolores Raasch. Mike served in the U. S. Army in Germany. He was formerly married to Ann Buchanan. Mike worked at Bruns Garage in Madison, and later owned and operated his own body shop. He was a member of the VFW Post in Waunakee. Mike is survived by his siblings, Lorna Bannigan of Edgerton, Kathleen (William) Smith of Hudson, Robert (Olga) Raasch of Brodhead, and Lisa Hanson of Stoughton; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and two best friends, Dave Bernstein and Ray Selge. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Harrington; and brother, Gary Raasch. Private family services will be held at a later date.
