Obituary
MIDDLETON-Marie F. Ripp, age 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010. She was born on August 17, 1918, in Roxbury, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Jost) Reuter.
Marie was united in marriage to Joseph Ripp on November 24, 1942, at St. Norbert's in RoxburyHe preceded her in death in 1999.
Marie was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Middleton.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Brumm of Lodi and Sharon (Larry) Goss of Peabody, MA; a son, Michael Ripp of Wauwatosa; six grandchildren, Susan (Brian) Stumpf of Cross Plains, Stephanie (Matthew) Ansfield of Appleton, Laura (Chuck) Miller of Springfield, VA, Peter (Sophie) Goss of Portland, OR, Bethany Caball of Missoula, MT and Edward Caball of Bozeman, MT; five great-grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Stumpf, Oliver Miller, Samantha and Maxwell Ansfield; two sisters-in-law, Lois Reuter of Westfield and Bernetta Reuter of Sauk City.
In addition to her husband, Joseph, Marie was preceded in death by two daughters, Jeanne Caball and JoAnne Ripp; a sister and her husband, Evelyn (Leonard) Breunig, a brother and his wife, Norbert (Sarah) Reuter and two other brothers, Edwin Reuter and Joseph Reuter.
A service to celebrate Marie's life will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave, Middleton at 11:00 AM on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Burial will be in St. Norbert\'s Cemetery in Roxbury. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church.
A special thank you to Mary Jane Vosen and Evelyn Reinke for their devoted care of Marie for many years.
