McNurlan, Nancy L. Caravello
STOUGHTON-Nancy L. Caravello McNurlan, age 74, of Stoughton, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at Skaalen Home in Stoughton. She was born on April 22, 1936, in Madison, the daughter of Harvey G. and Bernice (Boyum) Bergner. Nancy married Raymond McNurlan on April 8, 1988, in Madison. She worked at Madison Area Technical College for 30 years at the information desk, as an administrative assistant. Nancy enjoyed artwork, especially painting and sketching. She also loved nature and gardening. Nancy is survived by her husband, Raymond; children, Vincent G. Caravello of Madison, Rita M. Foster of Birmingham, England, Victor J. Caravello of Madison, and Philip J. Caravello of Stoughton; a grandchild, Justin L. Myers of Madison; sister, Rita Terry; niece, Lynne Terry, both of Columbia, Mo.; and dear friend, Roberta Meyer of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010. Visitation will be at the chapel from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NAMI Dane County, 2059 Atwood Ave., Madison, WI 53704-5367.

My deepest sympathies to Nancy's family. I worked with Nancy for years at the college and shared many stories about our flower gardens. She was a remarkable person and always had a smile. Here memories will remain in all those she touched.
