Pavlue, Wallace J. "Butch"STOUGHTON - Wallace J. "Butch" Pavlue, age 83, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Skaalen Home. He was born on April 13, 1927, the son of John and Hazel Pavlue. He was united in marriage to Lois Opheim on July 22, 1948, in Dubuque, Iowa. Butch was a bus driver for Madison Metro for 43 and a halfyears and for the Stoughton School District for eight years. He was a past member of the Gold Wing Association. He and Lois enjoyed traveling all over the country on their Gold Wing. Butch also enjoyed bowling and deer hunting. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lois; daughters, Belinda (Ed) Steiner, Velma (Dennis) Strander, and Karen (Rick) Owens; son, Wallace Pavlue (Brock); 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Jim) Westveld; nieces and nephews. Butch was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ted; and step-dad, Albert Skram. Funeral services will be held at SKAALEN HOME CHAPEL, 400 N. Morris St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, with theRev. James Koza presiding. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept 28, 2010. The family would like to thank Dr. Musa, Michael Hecht and the staff at the Skaalen Home, especially those on Friendship Circle, and the staff at HospiceCare, Inc. for their wonderful care of Butch.
Cemetery:
Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
Visitation:
Visitation will be at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept 28, 2010.
Service:
Funeral services will be held at SKAALEN HOME CHAPEL, 400 N. Morris St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, with theRev. James Koza presiding.
