Timothy J. 'Tim' Hefty

Hefty, Timothy J. "Tim" MADISON/PORTAGE - Timothy J. "Tim" Hefty, age 44, of Portage, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at the VA Hospital. He was born on Dec. 16, 1965, in Madison, the son of Gary and Delores Hefty Tim graduated from Poynette High School, class of 1984. Tim served his country in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne during Desert Storm. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and animals. Tim liked his music and was a racing fan. Tim is survived by his son, Timmy Hefty; parents; brothers, Larry and Derek Hefty; fianc, Linda Cimaroli; uncle, Bill (Bev) Hefty;and grandmother, Bernice Hefty. A memorial gathering will be held at VFW Post 1707, 215 W. Collins Street, Portage, from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, with military honors conducted.
