Wilma R. 'Willie' Paulson

MIDDLETON-Wilma R. Willie Paulson, age 81, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at HospiceCare, Inc. in Fitchburg. She was born on Sept. 29, 1929, in Mauston. Willie was united in marriage to Duane Bryant on March 19, 1948 and she later married Donald Paulson on June 12, 1976, in Oregon. Willie enjoyed shaking dice, playing bingo and watching both college and professional football, she was always a good sport. She also enjoyed fishing and boating. Willie loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Robert) Wick and Vickie (James) Frederick, all of Oregon; grandchildren, Todd (Tina) Wick, Tamara (Greg McKeoun) Wick, Noel Andersen (Tina McKeoun), Micah Andersen, and Frank Frederick, great-grandchildren, Robert J. Wick, Aydin Frederick, Weslee Andersen, Shawna Andersen and Julianna Maheiu; brothers, Leonard (Elaine) Pishion of Dodgeville, Fay (Regina) Pishion and Otis (Dorothy) Winchester, both of The Dalles, OR.; sister-in-law, Jim (Alice) Rocca of Waunakee; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Willie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Paulson; sisters, Alma Colby and Nora Heggestad; and brothers, Ernie Pishion and Herbert Pishion. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. John-Brian Paprock presiding. Burial will be at Graves Cemetery at a later date. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to HospiceCare, Inc.
