Obituary

OREGON-Linda Elizabeth Klein, age 87, died on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010. She was born on Sept. 5, 1923, in Roxbury, to Florian and Rose Breunig. Linda married Claude Anthony Klein on Nov. 23, 1944, and they farmed in Oregon. They were members of Holy Mother of Consolation Catholic Church in Oregon. Surviving are her children, Sharon Klein (John Gerke) of Madison, Claude M. Klein of Thailand, Ronald (Sandra) Klein of Oregon, Shirley (Dean) Pernot of Brooklyn, Greg (Marj) Klein of Michigan, Beverly (Bob Ford) Gladem of Madison, and Lynn (Dan) Murphy of Middleton; 11 grandchildren, Scott and Brad Pernot, Kari Ritter, Jennifer Fredrickson, Kenneth, Robert and Anthony Klein, Chris and Robert Gladem, and Danielle and Calli Murphy; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Wesley Breunig of Sun Prairie; and sister, Naomi Robertson of Arizona. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Claude; a son, Kenneth; her parents, Florian and Rose Breunig; step-mother, Hattie Bensh Breunig; brothers, Anthony, Melvin, Sonny and Howard Breunig; and sister, Rita Breunig. Private services will be held. Linda was a loving mother whose greatest joy was to care and cook for her family. She also loved traveling with family, playing cards and visiting casinos. The family would like to thank HospiceCare for their care and support during a very difficult time. Service: Private services will be held.
