Obituary

MADISON - Scott. C. Mistlebauer, age 54, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010. He was born on Aug. 25, 1956, in Newport, Rhode Island, the son of Robert and Avery (Bevry) Mistlebauer. Scott was a graduate of Madison East High School, class of 1974 and attended MATC and Lakeland College. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Scott was an Eagle Scout, a member of 32nd Red Arrow Club of Southern Wisconsin, VFW Post 7591, and Capital City Harley Owners' Group. His great passion was riding his Harley. Scott worked as an information technology administrator for Famous Footwear and most recently for Alliant Energy. Scott is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kristine of Madison; parents; children, Craig Mistlebauer and Stacy (Josh) Pauley; brother, Shaun Mistlebauer; nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date a Highland Memory Gardens. Hooah!
