Rohan Brendan Black, Jr.

MADISON- Rohan Brendan Black, Jr., age 3 days, was unexpectedly called home to God on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010. He was born on Dec. 19, 2010, the son of Rohan and Sarah (Heide) Black. During his brief visit on earth, Rohan touched many lives and was deeply loved by his family and friends. Rohan loved to be held close by his parents, shared his first smile with his Auntie Nickie and he was first dressed by his Auntie Judy. He enjoyed a football game with his dad and Grandpa, before being able to come home with his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Reggie Heide; paternal grandfather, Samuel Prince; aunts, Judy (Edward) Johnson and Nicole Heide; and cousins, Randall Knerler Johnson and Mikey Johnson. Rohan Sr. was born and raised in the country of St. Vincent, an island in the Caribbean. Rohan Jr. was not able to meet several members of his loving family currently living throughout the world, including his paternal aunts and uncles, Matthew, Esther, Julian, Karen, Gideon, Griff, Dexter, Vivian, Lucene and Terry. Rohan is also survived by his feline big brother, Munga; several loving great aunts and uncles; as well as loving neighbors and friends. There is comfort in knowing that Rohan is being held in heaven by his paternal Nana, Adonna Black. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27, 2010. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Monday.
