Obituary
MADISON-Sarah Van Goey, age 28, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011. She was born on May 22, 1982, in Mishawaka, Ind., the daughter of Bernadette and Dennis. Sarah was an artist, a punk-rocker, and a fashionista. Sarah was also a feminist and a protector of the earth. Words cannot describe who she was or illustrate the life she led. She is loved by many. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Monona at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, with Chaplain Linda OLeary presiding.

I was so saddened to see that Sarah passed. She spent quite a bit of time with my daughter, Jessica Warner. I called Jessica this evening and told her the news. She and I both send our condolences. What a great loss! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember when Sarah was born and so does my daughter. I am so sad for her Mom and Dad and the rest of the family. They were a very unique family, very full of love. She is with God and we can't ask for anything better than that. Although it is so hard to let her go. Bless her and all of you. You are in my prayers and also my daughter's.
