Kalscheur Sarah P. 'Sally'

Sally Kalscheur, age 80, a lifelong resident of Cross Plains, WI, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 17, 2011. Sally was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Cross Plains and well known to all for her devotion to her family and life of service and prayer on behalf of others. In addition to the many times she helped others in their injury, sickness and death, she also help start the school lunch program and many ministries at St. Francis Xavier School and Parish in Cross Plains. In service to the community, she worked many years at the Cross Plains Clinic and helped establish the Cross Plains Emergency Medical Service, where she volunteered as an EMT. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ronald J. Kalscheur (Cross Plains, WI), her six children and ten grandchildren. Her children are Denis Kalscheur and his wife Gail (Newport Beach, CA) and his daughters Kristin Kalscheur (Portland, OR) and Lisa Kalscheur (New York, NY), Patricia Kalscheur (Verona, WI), Beth Martini and her husband Kris and their children Benjamin, Zachary, Lyndsay and Joshua (Falls Church, VA), Quentin Kalscheur and his children Baily and Austen (Milwaukee, WI), Barry Kalscheur and his wife, Trisha and their children Alexa "Lexi" and Madelyn (Madison, WI), and Rona Kalscheur (Falls Church, VA). Sally was preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Sarah C. Coyle, brothers Linus and Denis Coyle, and her sisters Beth Coyle, Agatha Grimm and Mary Schuchardt. She is survived by her sisters, Sr. Mary Linus Coyle (Dubuque, IA), Joan Ellestad (Mt. Horeb, WI), Joyce Meyer (San Diego, CA) and Ann Rebholz (Hudson, WI).A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2947 Thinnes Street, Cross Plains WI 53528 on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit at the church on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Francis Xavier Church Endowment Fund at the church address above.
