Sonja Marie (Christensen) Forler

STOUGHTON- Sonja found peace on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, passing away at the age of 60 in Stoughton. She was born on Sept. 7, 1950 in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School. Sonja worked for many years at the Central Wisconsin Center and as a caregiver to her father, Norman who preceded her in death along, with her mother Kari and her brother George. She is survived by her son, Daniel Forler; former husband, Robert Forler; sister-in-law, Kay Christensen; uncle, Archie (Pat) Christensen; niece, Jenifer (Anthony) Guidici; and nephew, Bjorn (Lisa) Christensen. Sonja was a proud, doting mother, a gracious aunt, and a giving friend. She enjoyed cooking, caring for her pets, and most importantly spending time visiting and sharing stories with friends and family. A time for remembrance will be held at AMERICAN LEGION POST 59, 803 N. Page Street, Stoughton, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011.
