LODI - Jacqueline L. 'Jackie' Parks, age 72, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born September 12, 1938 in Rockford, Illinois the daughter of Martin and Marie Peter. While Jackie was vacationing on Lake Wisconsin with her parents she met her future husband Ray Parks. They were married on June 27, 1959. Jackie was a charter member of the Lodi Jaycettes. She was an avid card player and bowler, but she loved to play yahtzee. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed camping with friends and relatives for many years. Jackie is survived by her two daughters, Patti (Ron) Wenger and Tammy Dolphin (Rick Bozacki); four grandchildren, Alex (Michelle) Wenger, Patrick (Brittany) Wenger, Jodi Dolphin (friend Tim Heuer) and Allen Dolphin; great-grandson, Nathan Wenger and a great-granddaughter on the way; a sister, Pat Carlson; two brothers-in-law, Norman Parks Jr. and Daniel Parks; a sister-in-law, Jane (Jerry) Quam; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray on October 11, 2005; and an infant son, Michael. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH in Lodi, with the Rev. Michael Lee officiating. Interment will be at Garden Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the HAMRE FUNERAL HOME in Lodi, and from 10:00 a.m. until the service at the church on Tuesday. LODI - Jacqueline L. My sincere condolences to the family of Jackie Parks. My heart goes out for her family especially the daughter I know so well, Patti. I have been a very dear friend to Patti for many years. She will always be my friend and has been there for me when I lost loved ones. God Bless you all.
