Kindly accept my sincerest sympathies to the George Murphy family. George was a longtime dear friend, and truly one of the greatest sports persons to represent the West Allis sport legacy. I played baseball and basketball with George, and always admired his ability, but more so, his sports demeanor. He was spirited, but kind and always acknowledged another person's ability. I enjoyed watching him play golf with older brother Bob later on. Although he didn't excel in golf as in other sports, he was an inspiration to all who played with him.....and an enjoyable all-around person. He will be missed....but... he'll be remembered...especially by this friend...

I will only say he made me smile,I was pround he was my Dads brother. And my life is so much less interesting knowing Bobbie, Georgie and Jimmy are gone. We miss seein all of you and wish we could be with you but I have limitiations that won't allow it. Love TR and Melony Murphy
