Dorothy Marion 'DoDo' Olin Edmond

FITCHBURG/HIBBING, Minn.-Dorothy Marion "DoDo" Olin Edmond passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2011. Dorothy was born on March 12, 1918, to Hans and Ellen Olin in Hibbing, Minn. (Penobscot Location). She graduated in 1936 from Hibbing High School and retired from Woolworths after 28 years of service. Dorothy moved to Madison on Nov. 22, 2001 to live with her beloved grandson, Scott and his children. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Trana of Flint, Mich., and Sharon Kuntz of Fitchburg, Wis.; grandchildren, Tim Trana of Flint, Mich., Cyndi (Tom) Doherty of Reno, Nev., Pam (Terry) Kinney of Oklahoma City, Okla., Kari (Dan) Schopf of Ankeny, Iowa, and Scott Kuntz of Madison, Wis.; special person, Mary Ellen Karst of Madison, Wis.; great-grandchildren, Aaron Schopf, Gretchen Kuntz, Bradley Kuntz, Alexys Kinney, and Mercedez Kinney; sister-in-law, Julia Olin of Hibbing, Minn.; and special nephew, Ron (Charlene) Edmonds of Holmes Beach, Fla. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Hans and Ellen Olin; husband, Oliver \"Ollie\" Edmond, who died on Dec. 18, 1966; sisters, Hilda (Bob) Beidler, Margaret (Jim) Jamison, Agnes (Franz) Johnson, Minnie (Ed) Edmonds and Sally (Ray) Rudd; and son-in-law, David Trana of Flint, Mich. Dorothy enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her Minnesota Vikings and Twins. She was always seen doing her puzzle books.
