Timothy 'Tader' Ray Francis

MADISON-Timothy "Tader" Ray Francis, age 51, of Madison, passed away on March 23, 2011, at home. He was born on June 26, 1959, in Columbus, the son of Stephen and Arlis (Downing) Francis. Tim was an avid Badgers fan and enjoyed coaching his three daughters in sports. He also loved cooking. Tim served as a Deacon at Lake Edge United Church of Christ. He is survived by his daughters, Danielle Francis of Cross Plains, Amy Francis of Roxbury, and Rachel Francis of Cross Plains; his parents, Stephen and Arlis Francis; sisters, Michelle (Jim) Mickelson and Peggy (Scott) Berger; brothers, Steve (Holly) Francis and Joe Francis; and the mother of his three daughters, LuAnn Shelbrack. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; and his paternal grandparents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, with the Rev. Rodney R. Hank presiding.
