Robert James 'Rob' Comeau

Comeau, Robert James"Rob"TOWN OF MIDDLETON-Robert James "Rob" Comeau, age 54, passed away at home with his family by his side on Friday, March 18, 2011, following a long illness. He was born on Dec. 20, 1956, in Milwaukee, the son of Robert Edward and Marie Joyce (Mayer) Comeau. From the tops of the mountains to the bottom of the ocean, Rob lived his life to the fullest. He graduated from Madison West High School. Rob was united in marriage to Kaia Johnson on June 30, 1979, in Madison. He loved spending time outdoors, rock and mountain climbing, diving and hiking. Rob also enjoyed cars and traveling with his family and friends. He was very creative and his keen eye for artistic design helped him in his career with Watts Landscape Service. Most recently he enjoyed doing drawings for his family and friends. Rob was a very kind, patient, faithful and giving man, always willing to help anyone in need, including volunteering at church and with Habitat for Humanity. Rob is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kaia; daughters, Aubrey (fianc, Nathan Schuster) Comeau, and Mariah (boyfriend, Sean Bayer) Comeau; adopted son, Brian (Sara Lemanski) Henderson and their daughter, Sophia Henderson; siblings, Diane (Allen Walters) Comeau, Gary (Colleen) Comeau, Mary (Jim Walworth) Comeau, Steve (special friend, Annie Reiss) Comeau; brother-in-law, Kerstan "Kurt" Johnson; and father-in-law, Kenneth Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law, Ruth-Ann Johnson. Private services will be held.
